The audition of the quality of soil and groundwater by using the Quality Assurance Project Plans

Absrtact
The objectives of this plan were (1) to audit the procedure by the Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), (2) to locate the places of sample collection and laboratories (3) to assist the laboratories to operate effectively, and (4) to organize the informal discussions based on the analysis result. With regard to the progress of QAPPs, 64 QAPPs has been reviewed The procedure of sample collection and data analysis has been established and the promotional seminar has taken place in January 2014. We have completed the monitor of 159 sample-collecting locations and reviewed the analysis reports of 74 laboratories/112 person. We have noticed that there are some procedure needed to be improved: (1) the collective proposal had not been seriously followed; (2) the stander solutions of equipment are expired; (3) the collecting sample were inappropriate preserved. The possible reasons leading to these mistakes seems that the information of QAPPs has not been clearly conveyed to person in charge and the procedure of this project has not been strictly followed. Concerning the blind samples test one has been conducted so far. We have synthesized all the results from our monitor and this information will be published in three informal discussions in October. In order to provide more professional information for the Environmental Protection Agency, we also referred to the projects of QAPPs in other countries. Currently, we attempt to closely monitor all the progress of the participating laboratories and to establish a sufficient contact with them thereby achieving the set targets.
